Schnauzer's Do Love Their Kisses

If you've never had a schnauzer you may not know that they are really people dogs.   They love their people and love to give their people kisses, too.   That's one of the ways we know our Maggie is still with us.   We can pick her up and hold her and she will lick our faces as long as we allow.   She can't see us or hear us but I guess she smells us or through some sense that we don't understand she knows it is us.   I'll never forget an incident when Roy and I had been married about 2 weeks.   I was preparing dinner when I realized I needed an onion.   I asked Roy to run to the market for me.   He agreed and I turned to go back to the kitchen when I heard him say, "can I have a kiss before I go".   I turned around smiling and said "of course'.   I noticed the funny look on his face.  He said, "I was talking to Maggie but you can have a kiss too".   Good thing  I love this dog too.
